Nexsan's Flexible Storage Platform enables many storage technologies to be incorporated in one system. This is particularly useful to mid-sized organizations that prefer a single-system solution over having to buy many disparate systems. Nexsan pioneered storage systems that featured simultaneous multi-protocol access, and we designed our systems to be multi-tiered, supporting high-speed and high-cost SSD, mid-speed and mid-cost SAS and low-speed and low-cost SATA drives in one chassis. Our flexible storage platform supports our proprietary storage applications software, such as replication, de-duplication, data archiving, multi-tenancy, digital data backup and encryption.

Nexsan Storage Systems

Nexsan's industry-leading storage systems, the foundation of the Flexible Storage Platform™, contain anywhere between 14 and 60 drives and can be expanded with an additional expansion unit. Drives benefit from Nexsan's Anti-vibration Design™, Cool Drive Technology™ and Active Drawer Technology™. All Storage Systems can be configured with dual active/active controllers with battery-backed cache for high throughput and no-single-point-of-failure architecture through the Fibre Channel and/or iSCSI host access ports for block services, or via LAN for file services.

	Nexsan E18™ is Nexsan's next generation of high performance, high density and energy-efficient storage solution. Upping the ante over Nexsan's SATA/SASBoy® 14-drive 3U storage system, the E18 is a next-generation, high performance, 18-drive 2U storage system. The E18 supports SATA, SAS and SSD drives to flexibly meet varying storage needs for high performance, high capacity or both. The E18 is designed for applications that require enterprise-class performance at a mid-market price.
	Nexsan E60™ is a next generation high-density and energy-efficient storage system, upping the ante over previous generations by delivering a storage solution that accommodates 60 disks. It provides 180TBs in only 4U and, thanks to Nexsan's AutoMAID® level 4 technology, reduces energy costs by up to 85% - making it the most energy-efficient, enterprise-class storage system on the market.
	Nexsan E60X™ delivers the latest high-capacity expansion chassis, uniquely offering 60 drive bays in only 4U of rack space to give IT professionals the most storage capacity in the smallest footprint, with enterprise-class reliability and stellar ease of use. By attaching the E60X expansion chassis to Nexsan's SATABeast®, SASBeast®, E18 or E60 storage systems, organizations can achieve new levels of efficiency with the ability to add more capacity while reducing power, space and cost.
	Nexsan SATABeast is a high-capacity storage system ideal for applications requiring very high capacity and storage density provided in a minimal amount of rack space. With its storage density of 84TB offered through 42 drive bays, SATABeast's small 4U footprint is targeted at primary and secondary storage applications, as well as long-term bulk and disk-to-disk backup applications where ultra-high capacity is paramount, allowing companies to maximize their investment in data center floor space.
	Nexsan SATABeast Xi is a high-capacity storage system ideal for applications requiring very high capacity and storage density provided in a minimal amount of rack space. SATABeast Xi is identical to SATABeast, except that the Xi has been optimized specifically for storage applications that run predominantly in Apple Xserve and Mac Pro systems. This optimization includes a configuration targeted at rich media applications, as well as a cosmetic beveled appearance that fits right in with the look and feel of other Apple products.
	Nexsan SASBeast is a high-capacity, high-performance, enterprise-class storage array system ideal for transactional applications that demand high I/O per second. With its storage density of 25.2TB offered in a 4U configuration, SASBeast has the ability to scale to hundreds of terabytes of capacity in a single rack. With 42 high-speed SAS drives, it's optimized for customers whose infrastructures support Microsoft Exchange, Oracle, SQL and other databases, as well as those that involve large file servers, virtual server environments or large amounts of small files.
	Nexsan SATABoy is a storage system ideally positioned for medium-sized businesses and mid-tier deployments in large organizations. With its storage capacity of 28TB in 14 drive bays, SATABoy's small 3U footprint is targeted at primary and secondary storage applications, as well as long-term bulk and backup applications. SATABoy is Nexsan's most compact storage system, where cost-effective high capacity is paramount–yet IT managers don't require the ultra-high density, scalability and capacity offered by Nexsan's larger SATABeast.
	Nexsan SASBoy is a high-performance enterprise-class storage system ideal for transactional applications that demand high I/O per second. With 14 high performance SAS drives, it's optimized for customers whose infrastructures support Microsoft Exchange, Oracle, SQL and other databases, as well as those that involve large file servers, virtual server environments or large amounts of small files. Equally important, SASBoy includes FC and iSCSI connectivity and allows customers to combine SAS, SSD and SATA drives within the same system to address different application requirements.
	Nexsan Assureon is an archive storage system that is ideal for storage optimization, regulatory and corporate compliance, and long-term archive. Unlike other competitive archiving solutions, Assureon does not require that applications be customized to use proprietary APIs in order to store their data in the archive. Users do not need to learn anything new, change how they access data or learn any new processes. Assureon archive storage systems can house from 3TB to multiple PB of unstructured data.
	Nexsan iSeries is a complete iSCSI SAN (Storage Area Network) solution that can scale from a few terabytes (TBs) up to hundreds of TBs. As such, it's ideal for consolidating multiple servers and storage systems into a single infrastructure capable of providing enterprise-class storage.
	Nexsan DATABeast is a complete fibre-channel SAN (Storage Area Network) storage system that can scale from a few TBs to several petabytes (PBs), and provides all the storage services required to manage and protect data–including replication, thin provisioning, snapshots, virtualization, mirroring and more. It performs the same functions in a fibre channel environment that the Nexsan iSeries does for iSCSI environments, consolidating large amounts of storage into a single, high-density, energy-efficient and easy-to-manage solution that can be expanded economically. DATABeast is integrated with Nexsan's other storage systems, and as with all Nexsan products offers the energy-saving benefits of AutoMAID® technology to substantially reduce power and cooling costs. The solution provides all necessary storage, software, and infrastructure in a pre-assembled and pre-configured system, with all redundant components installed and cabled. DATABeast can store up to 1PB of data in a standard 42U rack, and can scale up to 6PB in a single system–all at costs that are significantly less when compared to competitive solutions.
	Nexsan DeDupe SG is a complete, turn-key solution with all the necessary software and hardware leveraging Nexsan’s highly efficient storage combined with FalconStor’s high performance deduplication software engine (File-interface Deduplication System - FDS). DeDupe SG represents the next generation in data deduplication by reducing capacity costs while greatly improving operational efficiency.
	The Edge is designed for businesses that need to consolidate and centralize all their data and storage needs onto a single centralized solution. The Edge includes fully integrated, Fibre Channel connecting enterprise class Nexsan SAS and/or SATA RAID storage systems. With Nexsan storage, The Edge offers significant advantages over other commodity NAS products. RAID operations are separate and off-loaded from The Edge NAS server maximizing NAS server CPU and memory performance.
